Kravtsov spoke about the evacuation of teachers from the Kharkov region to Russia

The head of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, Sergei Kravtsov, said that teachers and school principals from the Kharkiv region, who wished to leave the region, were transported to Russia. He noted that the teachers, who were transported to the Belgorod region, have already started classes. According to him, the ministry will continue to “provide maximum support to them.”
“It’s fake that there were teachers from the Russian Federation. Everyone who was on the territory of the Kharkiv region, school directors, teachers who expressed a desire to leave the Kharkiv region, they had such an opportunity. We ensured this, today they are in the Belgorod, Rostov (regions – ”b”), Krasnodar Territory,” Mr. Kravtsov told TASS.
In July, it was reported that teachers from the Russian-controlled part of the Kharkiv region traveled for retraining in the summer. As reported by the pro-Russian administration of the region, in August 93 primary school teachers went to Kursk to take courses.
Earlier today the Ministry of Education reportedthat all teachers from Russia are in territories controlled by the Russian military. At the same time, the representative of the Investigative Committee of Russia, Alexander Bastrykin, instructed to initiate a criminal case “on the fact of the detention of teachers by Ukrainian military personnel.”
On September 10, Ukrainian MP Aleksey Goncharenko reported that in Kupyansk, Kharkiv region, they began to detain teachers from Russia who taught in schools under the Russian program. On September 12, Iranian Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Vereshchuk claimed that they would be tried for violating the laws and customs of war (Article 438 of the Criminal Code). The maximum sentence under this article is 12 years in prison. Also, Ukrainian teachers who agreed to teach under the Russian program will be held accountable.
