The Minister of Education of the Russian Federation Sergey Kravtsov said that the reasons for the start of Russia’s special military operation in Ukraine are included in the program of history lessons in the 10th and 11th grades.
“We can say that the 11th grade is a lot, since the SVO, by and large, did not begin on February 24th. Its causes are much earlier and much deeper,” Kravtsov said.
He clarified that more than one or two hours would be allocated for this in the school curriculum. In fact, this is the entire 11th grade and partly the 10th grade.
According to him, the new history textbook for tenth graders will describe the events from 1914 to 1945, including the revolution and the history of the Soviet Union. Kravtsov demonstrated this textbook for the first time.
