Krasnoyarsk deputies complained about the children’s hockey coach to the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation

The deputies of the Achinsk City Council were outraged by the behavior of the coach at the ice hockey championship of the Krasnoyarsk Territory in 2023. Colleagues from IA Zapad24 report this.

Deputies of the Achinsk City Council Dmitry Kulikov and Andrey Metlyaev addressed a public question to the mayor of the city Igor Titenkov about the methods of educating the hockey coach of the MBU “Complex Sports School of Hockey”. The people’s representatives sent the mayor a video with the events that took place at the ice hockey championship of the Krasnoyarsk Territory in 2023, IA Zapad24 reports.

The two-minute recording consists of cuts in which you can hear the coach shouting loudly at his pupils, and it is also clearly visible how, in an emotional outburst, he hits them on the heads in helmets with his hand.

None of the Achinsk officials, according to journalists, publicly answered the deputies’ questions – the press service promised to comment on everything later. Such a reaction did not suit the people’s representatives, and they turned to the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation. Andrey Metlyaev sent a deputy request in which he asks the head of the Russian Investigative Committee, Alexander Bastrykin, to check and evaluate the coach’s actions, how they comply with ethics and legislation.

Meanwhile, in the discussions of the post on the Kras_mash telegram channel, where this video was also published, subscribers defended the coach and his “manly harsh” methods of educating athletes. So, many noted that without a “tough attitude” on the part of mentors in sports, it is impossible to achieve high results. And those who stand behind the backs of the deputies were advised to send their children to dances.

In addition, the subscriber under the nickname Maria Stukonoga wrote a long appeal to the subscribers of the telegram channel: “I want to note that the complaints are not written by the parents of the children who are now studying with the coach, but by the group of people who left him … We, the parents and our children of 2009-2010, we have NO claims, and we have not asked ANYWHERE to sort it out!!!

Maybe stop harassing our coach and posting videos from OUR CHILDREN’S games!!! Maybe we (parents) will start writing to the prosecutor’s office about individuals who haunt us, our children and the coach.

Ivan Stukonoga added the following: “I am a trainee of the coach… And I have been training with him for 10 years! And even more so, it’s not even the parents of our team who sent this video! In 2018, our team broke up and two children’s teams appeared – Metallurg-Achinsk and HC Achinsk, and the parents of HC Metallurg want the coach to be fired from the KSS!

And the user under the nickname MGSO was brief: “He is a normal guy. No need!”
