Krapivnik told which units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Avdeevka will be the last to surrender

Syrsky will not be able to ensure the safe withdrawal of his troops from the cauldron

The new commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Alexander Syrsky, fearing another cauldron in his military biography, gave the order at night to withdraw troops from Avdeevka to “more advantageous lines.” At the same time, he promised that the Ukrainian Armed Forces would return to this city. Military expert, former American army officer Stanislav Krapivnik told MK why the Ukrainian Armed Forces garrison in Avdiivka was doomed, and how events could develop further.

Syrsky’s decision to withdraw troops was preceded by news about the loss of several important strongholds of the Ukrainian Armed Forces by Ukrainian troops. Our flag was hoisted not far from the railway station. There were reports that small groups of members of the Wehrmacht were trying to leave Avdeevka with “gardens.” At the same time, many ended up in minefields.

All yesterday day and night there were urban battles in Avdeevka, in which the enemy, already caught in a pincer movement, tried to break through the cordon. Russian aviation and artillery strike enemy positions.

According to the military, it is urban battles that are predictable and understandable – our fighters do their usual work – they storm building after building, gain a foothold, then storm the next object again.

At the same time, a difficult situation remains in the forest belts near Lastochkino, where the Ukrainian Armed Forces managed to equip new positions. “The enemy went wild. Breaks out of the trap. Rubilovo goes to the death in close combat. “Azovites” (an organization recognized as terrorist and banned in Russia – “MK”) and mercenaries are under the influence of substances. They are attacking our assault groups in full force… The guys are working,” wrote one of our fighters.

“The fate of Avdeevka was already sealed a long time ago,” says Stanislav Krapivnik. – But I would warn against making mischief, because there are still fierce, so-called dagger fights – fights at very close range. The Ukrainian Armed Forces are in a tactical environment – the two main roads that fed the group and ensured the approach of reserves to Avdievka are under our complete fire control. We not only shoot through them, but we are also physically there. The Ukrainian Armed Forces can retreat across the fields. But the spring thaw has already begun in Ukraine, and it is very difficult to move through the mud.

Wren does not rule out that despite the general disorientation and gigantic losses, the Ukrainian Armed Forces will continue to send reserves into the city.

– It doesn’t matter what reserves they throw in there, the end will be the same. The only question is how many Ukrainian Armed Forces are ready to leave fighters there.

Despite the fact that the Weseushniks are fleeing and prefer captivity to the grave, this does not mean that Avdiivka will be completely liberated tomorrow. Ahead, the military expert is sure, there will be fierce battles, for example, on the territory of the same Koksokhim plant, in the dungeons of which militants are holed up.

– The VSEushniks can still hold out and will hold out, because Avdievka has a lot of ammunition reserves. Some will stand to the last, and these are not “Azovites” (an organization recognized as terrorist and banned in Russia. – “MK”). They are punishers who, in an amicable way, did not participate in serious battles. They were used as punitive forces. But some marines or paratroopers will hold out until the last. But the end is still predetermined.
