Kostroma “Spartak” dropped out of the “Cup of Russia”…

The bad luck of the Kostroma “Spartak” continues – yesterday he lost again, this time to the Ivanovo “Tekstilshchik”, with whom he fought for access to 1/32 of the Russian Football Cup.

Despite the cold weather, a lot of Kostroma residents gathered at the Harvest Karavaev stadium, wishing their team to win. But alas! – the sympathy of the stands for the red and white did not help: if almost the entire first half, with all the abundance of scoring chances, was still on an equal footing, then in the 40th minute the Kostroma players were unlucky for the first time: “textile worker” Ivan Selemenev opened the Spartak goal.

And after the break, everything went awry for Spartak: Rustam Vazitdinov from Ivanovo from Tekstilshchik again hit Spartak’s goal in the 67th minute … and just two minutes later he again scored a red-and-white goal.

With a score of 3:0, the Kostroma team was full of spirits… but in the 88th minute, Spartak’s Daniil Sokolov still managed to console the audience by scoring a prestige goal. What is characteristic – the goal was really beautiful, scored with a header, but … he could not change anything.

And the extra time ended really badly for the Kostroma team, during which the already mentioned Rustam Vazitdinov scored his hat-trick, again scoring a goal against Spatrak.

In general, the result for our team turned out to be sad: 4:1 in favor of Tekstilshchik and a relegation from the Russian Cup.

Now the Kostroma players can only focus on the Russian Championship and prepare for the game with the understudies of the Moscow “Torpedo”.
