Yesterday in Moscow, awards were given to motorcycle athletes who won competitions in the 2022 and 2023 motorcycle seasons. The event was large-scale: its participants included not only the motorcyclists themselves, but also their coaches, as well as the organizers of motorcycle competitions – among them was the head of the Krasnoselsky district of the Kostroma region, Svetlana Kovalskaya, who was awarded an honorary a certificate for his great contribution to the development of motorcycle sports in the Kostroma region. In addition, the youngest motorcycle racer of the season, a schoolboy from the village of Sholokhovo, Krasnoselsky district, Sergei Kraev, who in August 2023 won the Russian youth motocross championship in the class of motorcycles with an engine capacity of up to 50 cubic centimeters, also stood on the podium to receive the winner’s diploma. The well-deserved award was presented to Sergei Kraev by his elder brother Maxim, who now holds the post of General Secretary of the Russian Motorcycle Federation.
