Russian footballer Alexander Kokorin said that the prison is “a good school of life” and that “every normal man should serve time” He said this in an interview with the YouTube channel “Superliga”
Recall that Kokorin was released in September 2019 on parole. In May 2019, he was sentenced to 1.5 years in prison after a fight in a restaurant.
He stated that he apologized for the fight, but believes he was “right about everything”.
“Am I sorry? How can you be sorry if it’s already happened? It’s a great experience, a good school. I once said that every normal guy and man should serve time in order to get and feel such a school, ”he said.
In his opinion, serving time in a pre-trial detention center helps “to bring the guys who have swum to their senses.”
