Knutov called the loss of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kherson direction

Military expert, director of the Museum of the History of the Air Defense Forces Yuri Knutov on the air of the talk show “Tell the Truth” on TV channel “Crimea 24” called the approximate losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kherson direction.
“The Armed Forces of Ukraine have already lost about 8-9 thousand fighters,” he said, commenting on the attempts of Ukrainian troops to attack in southern Ukraine.
The expert called these losses colossal, adding that they are not decreasing now, but only increasing.
According to Knutov, such losses are related to the tasks that President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky set for the military – to take control of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant by November 8 and go to Kherson.
This date, the analyst believes, is due to the fact that Congress elections will be held in the United States on that day, and for Democrats who pursue a policy of military support for Ukraine, it would be important to show that thanks to American assistance, Ukrainian troops are making progress.
According to Knutov, Joe Biden and the Democrats are counting on this to help them maintain a majority in Congress. Thus, the expert believes, the most severe losses that Ukraine suffers are primarily related to the desire to please Washington.
