Klitschko asked Zaluzhny about the shelling of Kyiv and Moscow
Mayor of Kyiv Vitali Klitschko appealed to the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhny in connection with the shelling of Kyiv on May 29. As previously reported, an air alert was announced in the city and the region on Monday, air defense was reported and rocket fragments were falling on the streets of the city.
Klitschko took part in the evening edition of the news program on local television, and during the broadcast, the presenter asked him how he could explain the frequent attacks on the capital. The mayor replied that he could not answer this question and believed that the answer was better known to the military.
“This question should be addressed to Mr. Zaluzhny: why can the Russians nightmare the capital of Ukraine, while the residents of Moscow have a rest in the capital of Russia?” – said Klitschko.
According to publications in the Ukrainian media, on Monday, a man was injured in Kyiv, who was in the car at the time of the fall of rocket fragments on him. The air raid alert in the regions of the country was announced several times a day.
