How informs The Economist, former US Secretary of State Henry Kissinger, in an interview with British journalists, advised, speaking about the personality of Russian President Vladimir Putin, to perceive him as the hero of Fyodor Dostoevsky’s novels.

The politician did not specify what kind of work of the Russian classic he had in mind, he only mentioned the internal contradictions of his characters.

“Putin should be seen as a Dostoyevsky character. With contradictions and doubts about the people,” Kissinger said.
