Kirov “Rodina” will become the first rival of the Arkhangelsk “Vodnik” in the Cup of Russia

From August 13 to 20, Ulyanovsk will host the first stage of the Russian Bandy Cup. The Arkhangelsk Region will traditionally be represented by Vodnik. This was reported by the press service of the regional Ministry of Sports.
The competition this year will be held in two stages. On the first of them, 14 teams are divided into two groups according to the territorial principle. Games of one of them will be held in Irkutsk, and the second will play in Ulyanovsk. The opponents of the yellow-greens, in addition to the local Volga, will be Rodina Kirov, Start Nizhny Novgorod, Dynamo Moscow and Kazan, as well as Murman.
Based on the results of the preliminary stage, the four strongest teams from each group will advance to the final tournament, which will be held in Kemerovo from September 19 to 24.
