Kinopoisk will show the new season of the show UFC The Ultimate Fighter with Conor McGregor

In the new season of The Ultimate Fighter, Conor McGregor, who has not starred in the project since 2015, returned to the show. 16 fighters will take part in a big knockout tournament. The show will be officially shown in Russian for the first time. The first episode has already been released online.

Kinopoisk began showing a super show about UFC fighters The Ultimate Fighter. The new 31st season is exclusively available in Russian with a Yandex Plus subscription. A total of 12 episodes will be released, the main characters of which will be former UFC champion in two weight categories Conor McGregor and one of the top MMA fighters Michael Chandler. They will train teams of eight athletes.

For twelve weeks, 16 athletes will live and train under the same roof. Both those who already had experience in the UFC and newcomers to the promotion participate in the show: eight athletes each in lightweight and bantamweight. In total, they will hold 14 fights right through – the losers will leave the show. The winners of The Ultimate Fighter are signed by the UFC. Previous wins on the show launched the careers of many fighters such as Nate Diaz, Tony Ferguson, Kamaru Usman, Ryan Bader and more. This year, Russian Timur Valiev can become such a fighter, for whom The Ultimate Fighter is a chance to restart his career in the best MMA promotion in the world.

The Ultimate Fighter has been in production since 2005 and airs on ESPN and ESPN+. For the first time, the project is officially localized for a Russian-speaking audience. The Ultimate Fighter show on Kinopoisk has two audio tracks in Russian: one of them was prepared by Vladimir Antonenko, the voice of UFC Russia and the author of the Voice of Antonenko YouTube channel, the second one was prepared by Kirillitsa studio, already familiar to MMA fans in Russia. The original English audio track and Russian subtitles are also available to viewers.

The new season of The Ultimate Fighter kicked off with a confrontation between Roosevelt Roberts (12 wins, 3 losses, 0 draws) and Nate Jennerman (16 wins, 5 losses, 0 draws). The final roster of fighters in the bantamweight (up to 61 kg) included: Timur Valiev, Carlos Vera, Trevor Wells, Brad Katona, Mando Gutierrez, Cody Gibson, Rico DiSciullo and Hunter Azur. In lightweight (up to 70 kg) the show features: Lee Hammond, Kurt Holobo, Austin Hubbard, Jason Knight, Aaron McKenzie, Landon Quinones, Nate Jennerman and Roosevelt Roberts.

The first episode is already available on Kinopoisk. New episodes will be released every week until August 16th.
