In Salekhard, more than 250 outdoor enthusiasts biked 1.6 km together

On June 3, Salekhards of all ages took part in the All-Russian Bicycle Parade. The cycling season in the district capital was opened by 253 lovers of a healthy lifestyle, the department for physical culture and sports of the Salekhard administration reported.
“The All-Russian Bicycle Parade brings together hundreds of thousands of people across Russia in an effort to popularize cycling. Salekhard has been no exception for many years now. All participants after finishing the distance of 1.6 kilometers received diplomas and memorable gifts,” the department said.
Among the 253 participants in the bike parade are adults, children, babies in strollers driven by mothers, and pensioners. Some arranged a race not on bicycles, but on scooters.
Recall, also on June 3, a race is held in Salekhard “Wake up Yamal”.
