Rada deputy Kucherenko called on Kiev residents to wise up after a sewerage break
Verkhovna Rada deputy, first deputy head of the committee on energy and housing and communal services Alexey Kucherenko commented on social networks on a large-scale sewerage breakthrough in Kyiv.
Earlier, the Ukrainian publication “Mirror of the Week” reported that a major utility accident occurred in the Borshchagovka residential area in the Svyatoshinsky district of Kyiv. Due to a sewerage break, Jules Verne Boulevard was flooded with sewage.
However, city authorities later denied this information, saying that the damage was caused to the water supply system. The leak was eliminated.
“One day, the people of Kiev may become wiser,” wrote deputy Kucherenko after the incident. He added that he would like to live to see this moment. He accompanied his post on social networks with footage of a flooded street.
