Electric scooter rental services Urent and Whoosh have stopped operating in Perm. The city map disappeared from kick-sharing apps, and scooters with company logos were removed from the city streets.

According to the publication, on April 15, a message appeared in the Whoosh service application about the suspension of activities in Perm. “We left for the winter. When we return, everything will be as before,” the sharing company said in a statement.

As explained “Kommersant-Prikamye” According to the Whoosh press service, this measure is temporary, and kicksharing representatives are making every effort to return to work in Perm in the near future. “Whoosh scooters are temporarily unavailable. Scooters left in violation of the new rules must be taken to impound lots. At the beginning of April, the first cases of the movement of illegally installed electric scooters were noted in Perm. In just 3 days, 532 personal mobility devices were removed from pedestrian sidewalks and other public places.
