Khusnullin named the number of schools that started the academic year in the liberated territories

The academic year began on September 1 in about 1,400 schools located in the liberated territories, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Marat Khusnullin wrote on his Telegram channel.
According to him, we are talking about the territories of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, as well as Kharkiv, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions.
Khusnullin noted that in order for the school year to start in these schools on September 1, systematic work was carried out.
According to him, about 550 schools out of 1,400 were repaired before the start of classes.
Earlier, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported that the coordinates of all educational institutions in the DPR, LPR and in the liberated territories of Ukraine would be transferred to the UN to prevent their shelling. The ministry said that a total of 1,422 schools are starting to work in these territories, where 326,000 students will start studying. Also from this year, for the safety of schoolchildren in the DPR, mandatory armed guards are being introduced.
