Journalist Semyon Pegov detained in Moscow. This is reported by his Telegram channel WarGonzo. According to the channel, Pegov tried to check into a hotel. For some reason, the administrator thought he was drunk and called the police.
In his statement to law enforcement, the hotel employee indicated that Pegov had threatened him. The journalist was taken to the police station.
Pegov is the founder of the WarGonzo channel, which talks about the progress of the special operation in Ukraine. The resource has been repeatedly criticized by the Ukrainian media for allegedly false information and a pro-Russian position.
