Khinshtein urged Roskomnadzor to punish “Yandex.Music” for the song “Moskal is on fire”

The head of the State Duma Committee on Information Policy, Alexander Khinshtein, turned to Roskomnadzor with a request to take action against Yandex.Music because of the recent release of the Ukrainian group Never too late, Burn Moskal. The song was published on the service today, May 8.
The first to pay attention to the release of the song “Burn Moskal” on Yandex Music was rapper Akim Apachev, author of the song “Summer and Crossbows”, the unofficial anthem of the Wagner PMC. It’s about us, we’re on fire here,”— wrote rapper on the page in “VKontakte”.
Six hours later, deputy Khinshtein drew attention to the release in Telegram. “A peculiar gift from Yandex.Music on the eve of May 9: the song “Moskal is on fire” performed by a Ukrainian group. Already appealed to Roskomnadzor with a request to take action,”— wrote deputy. According to him, “this is not the first case of such antics” of the music service.
In October 2022, the Ministry of Internal Affairs began verification after the publication of a video in which “Mrs. Beauty Queen of Crimea-2022” Olga Valeeva performs the Ukrainian song “Chervona Kalina”. In September of the same year, the Bakhchisaray District Court of Crimea fined the organizers and participants of the wedding at which this song was performed.
