Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Information Policy Alexander Khinshtein made a proposal at the Russian Internet Forum (RIF) to introduce incentives for IT companies investing in education.
“I’m coming out with an initiative … benefits, we are discussing for now, in what format, tax or some other, for those IT companies that make direct investments in the education system,” leads his words to RIA Novosti.
The company may be exempted from paying taxes on the amount it has invested, the MP added.

In addition, in the next two years, enterprises may not pay income tax. As a result, the number of accredited IT companies has grown, Mishustin noted. He specified that in 2022, sales of products and services in the industry increased by 22%.
