The Khimik players from Dzerzhinsk continue preparing for the start of the spring part of the 2023-2024 season in the Silver division of the Second League “A” of the 2023-2024 season. Following the results of the summer-autumn part of the season, the team from Dzerzhinsk became a triumphant in Group No. 2 of the Second League “B”. The black-and-greens steadily and without any problems covered the distance of 17 official matches, suffering only one defeat, losing in an away match against the reserve team of St. Petersburg Zenit. 2 rounds before the finish of the championship, Khimik became the champion, ahead of Zenit-2 and rivals from Irkutsk.
On February 22, Khimik played another test match in preparation for the start of the spring part of the season. This time “Khimik” tried their hand in a match against an opponent representing the First League. The black-and-greens played against Saratov Sokol and suffered a second defeat in a row. “Sokol” scored two goals during the first half, earning the advantage. In the second period of the game, Khimik and Sokol exchanged goals. The final whistle sealed the victory of Saratov “Falcon” with a score of 3:1.
Let us remind you that Khimik’s debut in the Silver Division of the Second League “A” is scheduled for March 2. The black-greens will host Spartak from Kostroma at their home arena.
