Khabarovsk boxers brought medals from international competitions

Athletes from the Khabarovsk Territory brought four medals from international boxing competitions. There are two silver and two bronze medals in the piggy bank.
According to the regional government, the competition was held in the new center for team sports and martial arts in Komsomolsk-on-Amur from February 19 to 24. They were dedicated to the memory of Soviet and Russian soldiers who died in the line of military duty.
More than a hundred boxers aged 17-18 from nine countries competed for medals: Egypt, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Belarus, Russia, Central African Republic, Mongolia, Kazakhstan. Sets of medals were competed in 13 weight categories.
“Silver” was won by Yuri Gorvat, who competed in the 67 kilogram weight category, and Mikhail Smolik, who fought in the 92 kilogram weight category. Zakhar Kryukov (up to 51 kilograms) and Boris Baranov (up to 75 kilograms) received bronze.
