Kettlebell lifting competition “Russian Bear” was held in Murmansk

In the Murmansk youth sports center, on Mironov Street, the Russian Bear kettlebell lifting competition was held. Among the participants were 21 people, the city administration said.
Schoolchildren and students tested their strength in two exercises: the clean and jerk and the kettlebell snatch. The absolute champions were a participant with a score of 93 lifts with a weight of 12 kg, as well as an athlete with a score of 169 points (weight of a weight of 16 kg).
The center regularly hosts competitions and group training for the younger generation, quests, sports quizzes and educational meetings. Young northerners are taught about healthy eating, exercise techniques and much more.
Group classes are organized free of charge for residents of Murmansk from 14 to 35 years old.
