Kemerovo residents started the year with promises and a mass race

Today, January 1, at 12:00 p.m., more than a thousand Kemerovo residents took part in the “Run of Promises,” which took place in the Olympic Park.

This is the tenth New Year’s race. Its participants received special numbers at the Kuzbass Ice Palace. The runners wrote promises on them that they undertake to fulfill in the coming year, and then ran 2024 meters.

Both pensioners and children took part in the festive race; some participants even took their four-legged pets with them. Among those running were well-known personalities in the region. In particular, the silver medalist of the Winter Olympic Games in Sochi, skier Alexander Bessmertnykh.

And the working week will begin with communication between Kuzbass residents andgovernment representatives.
