Kazan “Rubin” tied with “Neftekhimik” in the match of the First League

At the guest stadium in Nizhnekamsk, Rubin played a draw with the local Neftekhimik, the score was 2:2, IA Tatar-inform reports.

The game against Nizhnekamsk was the fourth for the team of Leonid Slutsky in the First League season. In the first round, Rubin proved to be stronger than Rodina Moscow (2:0), in the second round they lost to the Krasnoyarsk Enisey (2:3), in the third – a draw with Ufa (0:0).

In the match with Neftekhimik, goalkeeper Yuri Dyupin defended the gates of Kazan, Oleg Ivanov led the team with the captain’s armband.

The first Tatarstan derby of the season for Rubin was led by a referee team led by Artem Galimov.

In the second minute, Vitaly Lisakovich opened the scoring for the Belarusian striker from Kazan, the goal was the first of the season. Then the initiative completely went over to the side of Nizhnekamsk: the hosts created a lot of dangerous moments, but goalkeeper Yuri Dyupin was able to keep the gate shut, the score remained unchanged – 1:0.

In the second half, the captain of Rubin, Oleg Ivanov, received a red card and left the team in the minority: the hosts equalized, Roman Denisov punched through himself with scissors. Then the teams exchanged balls: Neftekhimik answered Fameye’s goal with a shot against Kotov. The match ended with the score 2:2.

After four rounds, Rubin and Neftekhimik are in 9th place with five points in the First League table. The team of Leonid Slutsky and Kirill Novikov was 5 points behind the leading KAMAZ from Naberezhnye Chelny.

In the fifth round of the First League, Rubin will play at home with the Krasnodar Kuban on August 15 at 18.00.
