Kazan Marathon 2023: an employee of the Novgorod Federal Penitentiary Service ran more than 40 km in less than 4 hours

The Kazan Marathon, the largest regional marathon, took place in the capital of Tatarstan. 12,000 runners from 16 countries and 456 cities of Russia took part in the race.
The Kazan marathon takes the form of a running tour of the main sights of the city. The event is charitable and all proceeds will go to help sick children.
Employees of the Novgorod Federal Penitentiary Service also took part in the marathon.
Anton Ivanov, senior engineer of the group for maintenance and operation of communications facilities of the TsITOV UFSIN of Russia for the Novgorod region, covered a distance of 42.2 kilometers in 3 hours 38 minutes 19 seconds. This was reported in the press service of the Federal Penitentiary Service of Russia in the Novgorod region.
Formerly “MK in Veliky Novgorod” informedthat the participants of the Okulov Forest Half Marathon collected 50 kg of toothbrushes for recycling.
