Kazakh gymnasts win historic medals at the Asian Championships

At the 10th Asian Championships in Artistic Gymnastics, which takes place in Singapore, the men’s team of Kazakhstan earned a bronze medal. This is the first prize of the national team of Kazakhstan in the Asian championship and in the history of Kazakhstan’s participation in the continental championships.
The third place allowed Kazakh gymnasts to get a ticket to the world championship, which will be held in autumn in Belgium. The bronze medalists of the Asian tournament were Nariman Kurbanov, Milad Karimi, Dmitry Patanin, Diyas Toyshibek, Alisher Toybazarov and Ilyas Azizov.
A few days ago, Emil Akhmedzhanov, who won the podium at the international tournament in Osijek (Croatia), scored a bronze medal.
And in early June, the Kazakhstan rhythmic gymnastics team won the bronze medal at the 19th Asian Championship in Manila (Philippines). The team includes Aidan Shayakhmetova, Asel Shukirbai, Ayaulym Kadyr, Aruzhan Kasenova, Aruzhan Kalsayeva and Aksunkar Abdyrakhman.
In individual competitions, our compatriot Elzhana Tanieva won silver in the exercises with a hoop and ribbon, as well as bronze in the performance with a ball and a mace. So the Kazakh woman was already marked by the fourth medal at the CHA.
