Kate Middleton has decided to skip the annual Easter service due to her cancer, the Independent reports.
It is noted that King Charles III will take part in Sunday’s Easter service in St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Palace, but will sit separately with his wife Camilla. Prince William and Kate Middleton will miss the Easter service as the princess is currently undergoing chemotherapy.
It was previously reported that Kate plans to return to her duties by the end of March and take part in the Easter service.
On January 16, Kate Middleton was hospitalized in a London clinic. On March 22, she announced that she was in the early stages of preventative chemotherapy. The Princess of Wales said the cancer was discovered during post-operative examinations in her abdomen.
Royal expert Mark Roche, citing sources, named Middleton’s diagnosis. According to him, she is suffering from colon cancer.
