Valery Karpin expressed his opinion on the results of Rostov after the first half of the RPL 2023/2024 season.
“The first round ended poorly for Rostov,” shared the coach of the “yellow-blues.”
After 15 rounds of the Russian Premier League, the Don team is in 11th place out of 16 in the standings. During all these games, the Rostovites conceded 27 goals and scored 24. The Rostovites are four points away from the relegation zone to the First League (a division one step lower).
For comparison, in the first round of last season the “yellow-blues” were in third place in the standings together with CSKA.
