Karelian sportswoman won the All-Russian competition in roller skiing

Karelian athlete Anastasia Sidorova won gold at the All-Russian competitions in roller skiing, which took place in the Leningrad region at the end of August. As was reported in “Sport is the norm of life in Karelia”, more than 350 athletes from 11 regions aged 15-18 participated in the competition.

“On the first day, the strongest were determined in the race in the classic style. Anastasia Sidorova, a pupil of the Sports School of the Olympic Reserve of Kondopoga, won among the senior girls at a distance of 10 kilometers, – noted in project.

Also at the competition were an athlete from Segezha Valeria Dushicheva, Korney Kornev from Kostomuksha, Anna Sergeeva, Andrey Korpusenko and German Kataev from Petrozavodsk, Savely Timofeev from Lahdenpokhya and Evgenia Sidorova from Kondopoga.

Formerly an athlete from Karelia with a disability became champion of Russia in orienteering.
