Head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadyrov said that in the near future the issue of banning the translation of Sahih al-Bukhari collections of hadiths would be resolved. According to him, this issue is dealt with in the government. On August 30, the collection was included in the list of extremist materials.

“In the near future, the issue of banning the translation of collections of hadiths will be finally resolved. The Administration of the President of the Russian Federation has decided to pay close attention to this fact, as well as other possible errors in the examination of religious literature,” Mr. Kadyrov wrote in his Telegram channel.

Also, as follows from the video he published, Russia will not completely ban all collections of hadiths and generally accepted commentaries.

August 30 Ministry of Justice introduced one of the six main collections of Sunni Islamic tradition “Sahih al-Bukhari” in the list of extremist materials. According to experts, the scriptures “promote the superiority of Islam” and are aimed at “inciting Muslims to commit violent acts.” Ramzan Kadyrov spoke out against this decision.

More about the situation – in the material “Kommersant” “Sahih al-Bukhari has found its reader”.
