The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, received the rank of colonel general. He announced this in the Telegram channel on his birthday.

“I want to share with you another good news. The President of Russia awarded me the rank of Colonel General. The decree was issued under number 709. Vladimir Vladimirovich personally informed me about this and congratulated me, ”— wrote he. The order to award him the title was not published.

According to Ramzan Kadyrov, in a telephone conversation, Vladimir Putin asked to wish all residents of Chechnya “well-being, good luck and success” on his behalf.
