Kadyrov entered the Russian Book of Records for the number of personal sanctions

The head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, is included in the Russian Book of Records, since the largest number of personal sanctions in the world have been imposed against him. With regard to Mr. Kadyrov, 15 sanctions were imposed, which is a record figure. He was also awarded a certificate for a record number of direct restrictive measures, sanctions against his relatives and associates (68 such sanctions in total).

October 3 Ramzan Kadyrov informed about plans to apply to the Guinness Book of Records and the Russian Book of Records due to the large number of personal sanctions imposed on him. He noted that he would initially contact the Russian record directory, since it is “closer and dearer.”

As the head of Chechnya reported, since 2011, 15 direct restrictions have been imposed against him, 10 against family members, 28 against associates, 9 against organizations and 4 against Instagram accounts (owned by the extremist and banned Meta) and his horses (in 2020, restrictions affected Satish Simara, whom the US Department of the Treasury calls the “trainer of Kadyrov’s horses”, before that, the German authorities, and then the Czech Republic, refused to pay remuneration for the victory of the horses of the head of Chechnya at the races and allocate funds for the maintenance of horses).

Earlier today, October 5, Ramzan Kadyrov received rank of colonel-general on his birthday. According to him, Russian President Vladimir Putin personally congratulated him on his appointment. Mr. Kadyrov is 46 years old.
