The leader of the Chechen Republic Ramzan Kadyrov in his Telegram channel congratulated Ilham Aliyev on his victory in the presidential elections in Azerbaijan. He emphasized that the broad support of the country’s citizens is clear evidence of Aliyev’s true leadership.
The early presidential elections in Azerbaijan ended on Wednesday at 18:00 Moscow time. According to the CEC, incumbent President Aliyev is in the lead, receiving 92.1% of the vote after processing data from almost 55% of polling stations.
Kadyrov noted that Aliyev’s experience and ability to make difficult decisions make him a key figure in the political and social life of Azerbaijan. He also expressed appreciation for Aliyev’s efforts in strengthening diplomatic ties with partner countries, including Russia.
The head of Chechnya expressed confidence that under Aliyev’s leadership, Azerbaijan will continue its dynamic development, becoming an increasingly prosperous and influential state.
