The US Senate did not support a high-profile bill providing for the allocation of assistance to Ukraine in the amount of $60 billion.

Let us recall that the document provided for the allocation of funds to assist Ukraine and Israel, as well as to protect the southern borders of the United States itself. The total bailout amounted to $118.3 billion, but only $20 of that was earmarked for changing immigration policies and funding US border security. As a result, the bill was criticized even before it was submitted to the Senate.

The document was supported by 180 senators, 250 voted against.
