Kadyrov condemned the inclusion of “Sahih al-Bukhari” in the register of extremist books

According to the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, the inclusion by the Russian Ministry of Justice of the Sunni collection of hadiths Sahih al-Bukhari in the list of extremist materials is a mistake that needs to be “urgently reconsidered.” According to Mr. Kadyrov, this decision is condemned by all Muslims in Russia, and the linguistic examination of the text carried out by theologians is incompetent.

“If this decision is not reviewed and competent experts are not involved in the analysis of religious literature, I am afraid that Muslims will not feel at home in Russia. And here religion already prescribes a Muslim to act in a completely different way, ”the Chechen politician emphasized in his Telegram channel.

In his opinion, the tendency to ban religious texts in Russia leads to degradation: “Look what is happening in Europe. Caricatures of the best of people, actions against hijabs, rallies against Muslims – all this led to the degradation of society to a level below the animal, which is what we are fighting today in Ukraine.

The text of the theologian Muhammad al-Bukhari was included Ministry of Justice in the list of extremist materials on August 30. As the examination showed, “Sahih al-Bukhari” promotes “the superiority of Islam” and encourages Muslims to commit violent acts.
