Chechen special forces units under the command of Sultan Rashaev are successfully solving tasks as part of an offensive in the Kherson direction. This was stated by the head of the Chechen Republic, Ramzan Kadyrov, by publishing a corresponding post on his Telegram channel.
As the head of the Chechen Republic noted, the fighters of the Chechen units also protect the city of Energodar. In this settlement there is an important strategic object – the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant. However, Ukrainian troops, despite the risk of an accident at a nuclear power plant, continue shelling Energodar.
Kadyrov called Energodar one of the most difficult areas in defense. He noted that Chechen special forces provide his protection. They’ve been ordered to hold the line so no one can get past them into the city.
