Russian diplomat Gavrilov warned the US and UK against rash steps

The Russian Federation warns the authorities of the United States and Great Britain against reckless actions that could contribute to the approach of a dangerous line in the development of events around Ukraine. This was stated by the head of the Russian delegation for military security and arms control at the OSCE forum in Vienna, Konstantin Gavrilov.
The diplomat stressed that support for Ukraine in the hostilities would be considered as actual participation in the conflict. Gavrilov also noted that the United States is modernizing its nuclear potential and contributing to the escalation of nuclear threats.
Great Britain, one of the key allies of the United States, openly declares its readiness to press the “red button”, the Russian diplomat emphasized. Russia, in turn, has repeatedly pointed out that nuclear weapons can be used to attack the country and threaten its territorial integrity.
Gavrilov also noted that decisions based on the results of referendums in the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics, Zaporozhye and Kherson regions will be made without regard to the opinion of the West.
