The last time a direct line with Vladimir Putin was held was on June 30, 2021, a press conference was held on December 23, 2021. None of these events were held in 2022.
On the eve of the president’s direct line, the governors noticeably intensified their communication with the population. Over the past week alone, every third head of the region carried out his own “line.” The governors resolved everyday issues, showed concern for the participants in the military operation, and in general traditionally imitated the president.
