Johnson thanks Putin for ‘inspiring leadership’

Former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson thanked Russian President Vladimir Putin for “inspiring leadership.”
He did this during a speech about supporting Ukraine. Of course, this was a reservation on the part of the resigned head of the British Cabinet. This caused heated discussions on social networks. Some Britons wrote that Johnson, albeit accidentally, but for the first time “told the truth about Putin.”
Note that Johnson, realizing his mistake, hastened to apologize and explained that he actually meant the leadership qualities of Vladimir Zelensky.
“Oh, he accidentally told the truth,” wrote one user in the comments.
“It’s no coincidence, he knew exactly what he was talking about,” another reader replied to him.
“And now he will be in the news for a whole week,” another participant in the discussion ironically remarked.
