Jerusalem Post: Strikes on an ammunition depot in Iranian Isfahan were successful

Representatives of the Western intelligence community are confident that the attacks on the ammunition depot in the Iranian city of Isfahan were successful. Their opinion is given by the Israeli newspaper The Jerusalem Post.

Four explosions sounded at the facility, according to the publication, and the damage caused significantly exceeds the “minor damage to the roof” reported in Iran.

Official Israel refrains from commenting on this matter. But most Western intelligence officials and sources in Iran attribute the Israeli Mossad to the same attacks on Iranian nuclear facilities in Natanz (July 2020 and April 2021), as well as in Karaj (June 2021), the newspaper recalls.

There is information, according to sources in The Jerusalem Post, that in addition to the Mossad, there are still structures capable of delivering “such accurate strikes.”

The Iranian agency IRNA reported that explosions at a military-industrial facility in Isfahan were caused by drone strikes. The Ministry of Defense of the country confirmed to the agency that “an unsuccessful attack was made”, and the strike was carried out by only one UAV. It was noted that the air defense system destroyed “two other drones.”
