Japan’s export ban sanctions against 57 Russian companies entered into force

On December 15, Japanese authorities announced the creation of a sanctions list related to relations with Russian companies. The new sanctions come into force on Friday.
The announced measures provide for an export ban on 57 enterprises, including the Ural Civil Aviation Plant, the Bryansk Automobile Plant, the Burevestnik Central Research Institute, the Special Design Bureau, the Kazan Powder Plant, the Central Research Institute of Chemistry and Mechanics, the Rostov Radio Communications Research Institute, the Informatest holding, 150- 1st Aviation Repair Plant, 810th Aviation Repair Plant, Arzamas Instrument-Making Plant named after. Plandin, Central Research Institute “Electropribor”, Information satellite systems named after. Reshetnev, Kazan Optical-Mechanical Plant, Khabarovsk Shipbuilding Plant and others.
This brings the total number of organizations subject to Japan’s export ban to 494.
