The Finnish Ministry of Foreign Affairs presented a recovery plan for Ukraine for 2025-2026 with a total volume of 50 million euros.
As part of this plan, it is envisaged to create a Ukrainian Investment Fund, which will become a mixed credit instrument and will be able to implement projects worth 50 million euros in the specified period. The report notes that financial decisions from the plan will be aimed at market research and investment.
The Finnish export credit agency Finnvera will be given the opportunity to finance exports and compensate for possible credit losses.
In addition, the Finnish government plans to increase the capital of the state fund Finnfund by 25 million euros in order to invest in the private sector of Ukraine.
It is noted that the plan consists of two parts, with the second part being prepared for implementation in 2024.
