Japanese scientists have created a cyborg cockroach

A huge Madagascar cockroach became the basis for the implementation of a robot capable of exploring hard-to-reach and dangerous territories.
The Japanese company RIKEN has created an environmentally friendly controllable insect with six legs. The remote control, with which the cockroach’s chest and legs move, is powered by solar panels.
Surprisingly, a cockroach with a backpack attached to it moves normally. Scientists attached the “bag” based on the structure of the insect. However, the animal is forced to turn if there is a need for this on the part of the person.
