“News” reported that United Russia deputies turned to the Prosecutor General’s Office and asked it to conduct a mass inspection of non-stationary public catering outlets and fast food establishments in Russia.
In his address, State Duma deputy Alexander Yakubovsky recalled the incident that occurred in Bratsk. More than a hundred people were poisoned by shawarma there. According to him, in the summer there is a high risk of an increase in such cases among consumers who buy food in summer cafes and fast food outlets.
“The Prosecutor General’s Office can resume control if there is a threat to the life and health of citizens,” Yakubovsky added.
