Izvestia journalist Natalya Grafchikova and a cameraman were attacked at an event by blogger Inna Tliashinova, which took place in a cottage in Khimki, Moscow region. They stated this themselves “News”. The journalist was diagnosed with a suspected concussion, multiple abrasions and bruises of the upper and lower extremities.

The film crew was at the event on the instructions of the editors. It is not specified whether journalists were invited to it or whether they warned about plans to visit it. As Ms. Grafchikova reported, the gate was opened for them and they went inside.

The film crew introduced themselves as Izvestia journalists. After the journalist began filming the seminar on her phone, security approached her and beat her, the publication said. The film crew was kicked out of the cottage without shoes. Allegedly, the cameraman was broken and the flash drive was taken away. On the street, as the report says, they tried to strangle the journalist. It is also alleged that Ms. Grafchikova was refused to call an ambulance, despite complaints about her health.

According to Izvestia, the Investigative Committee for the Moscow Region began a pre-investigation check based on information about the attack on the journalist.
