Italian singer Pupo was shocked by the prices of goods in Belarus

Italian singer Pupo came to Belarus to participate in the international art festival. The road to Vitebsk was not easy: because of the sanctions, the artist had to travel through Istanbul. But the difficult flight compensated for the warm welcome of the Vitebsk residents. Those met him with bread and salt, actively photographed and asked for autographs.

One day Pupo went for a walk around Vitebsk and was shocked by the local prices. They were much lower than in his native Italy.

– I visited a fair where artisans sell their goods, – said the artist. – Compare prices. Not very expensive, much cheaper than in Italy.

Pupo will not leave Vitebsk empty-handed. The Italian singer bought several wood products, as well as Belarusian carpets. Pupo did not forget to buy souvenirs dear to the heart.

The singer also admitted: in Italy, life has changed a lot lately. Prices for food and other goods have risen.

– Italy has become very expensive. People are in a difficult situation. They do not earn much, and the prices are very high.
