Italian journalist blown up in Kherson was treated in Russia

The Russian Red Cross issued a press release on Saturday announcing the treatment of Italian journalist Mattia Sorbi, who was blown up by a Ukrainian mine in Kherson.
He received multiple shrapnel wounds and was admitted to intensive care. Then the Russian Red Cross organized the escort and transfer of the Italian citizen across the territory of Russia and his treatment.
Currently, Sorbi is already returning to his homeland. He was placed on a stretcher on board the plane, which was provided by the crisis center of the Italian Foreign Ministry. The plane will fly to Istanbul, and from there it will head to Milan.
