Ukrainian MP Briginets reminded President Zelensky about the promise to pay the military

President Volodymyr Zelensky at the beginning of the SVO in Ukraine promised cash payments to military personnel, but the army never saw the money, ex-deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Alexander Briginets was indignant in a conversation with Ukrainian Major General Sergei Krivonos.

Zelensky, according to him, personally stated on February 27 that “every military man should receive at least one hundred thousand hryvnias” (211 thousand rubles – Ed.) Until the conflict ends. The government, as Briginets recalled on the air of the Direct TV channel, immediately supported this decision. “And today the president is silent about this,” Briginets stated.

Kiev has repeatedly acknowledged that the initiative with payments was hasty and thoughtless, but Zelensky himself does not comment on this.

The ex-deputy of the Rada added that during the year the declared amount had halved its real value. Krivonos, in response, agreed with this remark.
