You will be able to see the number of characters both in the entire text and in the selected fragment. The company believes that the new feature will help with editing and will give a clear idea of ​​the length of the document. Earlier in 2023, Notepad already received a number of improvements, including autosave to prevent data loss, tabs for working with multiple documents, as well as a dark interface theme and a virtual Gear icon.
