The weather gave Muscovites another surprise – it began to rain before the New Year
On the eve of the New Year, it began to rain in the capital. A cyclone arrived in Moscow, bringing with it warming. Thermometers should rise to +4 degrees during the day. Leading specialist of the Phobos center Mikhail Leus reported this on his Telegram channel.
At the same time, weather forecasters emphasize that there will be no wet New Year. On the night of December 31 to January 1, it will become sharply colder. Cold Arctic air will come from the Barents Sea. Frosts will come to the territory of Central Russia. On the day of January 1 it will not be warmer than -8 degrees.
The New Year holidays are still expected to be quite wintery. Snowfalls and frosts. Forecasters are not predicting rain yet.
